It takes about an hour from Oslo by car. Take the E16 from Sandvika towards Hønefoss. At Norderhov, just before Hønefoss, turn right onto the 241 signposted Gardermoen. After about 10km (6 miles), by Åsbygda Skole (school), drive straight up the hill signposted Almgrenda and take the first road to the right, Solborgveien. At the end is Asbjørnsen og Moe Hus in Solborg.
It is also accessible by bus from Oslo. Change at Hønefoss and take the Jevnaker (over Haug) bus, get off at Åsbygda Skole (school). The Oslo bus goes every hour (on the hour) and connects with the Jevnaker bus. See www.nettbuss.no/ringerike for timetables.
Coming from the North by car, drive via Gardermoen. Follow the signs from Gardermoen to Hønefoss on the 35 (toll road). At Jevnaker take the 241, signposted Norderhov and Oslo. After about 5km (3 miles) turn left into Almgrenda. It takes about an hour Gardermoen to Solborg.
The Gardermoen bus timetables are at www.askeladden.net. It takes about an hour and you get off at Åsbygda Skole (school). It is a five minute walk to Solborg.
